The Siren and the Myth of Seduction

There's a contradiction to the act of seduction. Seduce comes from the latin word "seducere" which translates as "to lead astray." The act of seduction is to lead someone astray, and in imitating the siren, a girl is in danger of seducing herself. Of leading herself astray.
When I was first becoming a woman, around the age of 13, I found myself in the community of "high value women" whos goal in life was to secure a "high value man." At the time I thought "high value" was in reference to someone with high values for life, I have since come to learn that it is in reference to the value a person ascribes to themselves. There was one creator in particular named Lisa Glamour
There is an element of femininity that lends itself beautifully to performance, but I fear that some women are beginning to view their womanhood as a performance in its entirety.
